Öykü Baştaş is a New York-based art director and object designer whose work bridges storytelling, craft, and contemporary culture.

Originally from Istanbul, she serves as Junior Art Director at Rachel Comey, where she develops visual worlds that define the brand's aesthetic language. In 2025, her object design Diken Vase was selected for the Formphilia exhibition at COR Studio in Paris.

In parallel to her design practice, Öykü is an established fashion model. In 2017, she made history as the first Turkish model to walk for Gucci. Some of her other notable clients include Vogue US, i-D, AnOther Magazine, Harpers Bazaar US, Schiaparelli, Burberry, Valentino and Helmut Lang.

Her design foundation includes a Bachelor's in Interior Design from Istanbul Bilgi University and formative internships at influential New York studios, including with Crosby Studios and Julia Wagner.
