Öykü Baştaş is a New York based art director and furniture designer from Istanbul, Turkey. Working across fashion, image, and physical space, her practice explores the relationship between visual storytelling and material form.

Her professional experience includes roles in branding and art direction at Rachel Comey, where she worked across creative concepts, campaigns, visual content, and on-set execution. Her background in furniture design was shaped through her experience at Crosby Studios and Julia Wagner Studio.

Baştaş holds a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design. In 2025, her design piece, Diken Vase, was selected for the Formphilia exhibition at COR Studio in Paris. In 2026, the piece was displayed as part of the Gucci Cruise 2027 runway show in New York.
